By Jeffrey A. Haines

The Parole Rotary Club, the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR), and Walter S. Mills Parole Elementary School students teamed up recently to plant ten young trees on the school's grounds.
Terry Galloway, coordinator of the DNR's TREE-MENDOUS Maryland program, which plants donated trees on public lands, was on hand to assist and educate students about native trees.
Members of the Parole Rotary Club, which raised funds for and sponsored the project, were also present to help student groups with planting projects.
